Tyler really did a great job with our garage door and they were very helpful generally.

UPDATE: Within 15 minutes of this review going up, Brian (service manager) called us to talk about the quality issue brought up in the review. It’s important to note that Brian was already home with his family and made it a point to step away for a call because it was important to him. We would never expect someone to take time away from their family, but the fact that he did speaks volumes for his work ethic and for how this company can inspire such a loyal and caring employee. Brian talked through the issues we had with our keypad and fully agreed that a keypad should normally last 8-10 years, but with that said, the brand that was used has had a severe decline in appliance quality. They are still chosen by many customers (including us), because they offer the widest variety of garage doors, though at the time of sale, I didn’t know about the quality concern. Brian talked through some troubleshooting options and told us that we can call him personally to troubleshoot any future issues with the keypad. We appreciated our concern being heard and validated by Brian and for him respecting us enough to be transparent and honest when coming to a resolution. Thank you, Brian! We are updating this review from 3 stars to 5 stars, because this issue was handled with respect and transparency. I’m still not thrilled with the keypad manufacturer for standing by an inadequate product, but absolutely cannot fault Garage Door Doctor for that, knowing that there were other options available and that they are willing to go the extra mile to make things right for their customers.

We had our garage door installed with Garage Door Doctor nearly 4 years ago. At each visit or phone call, customer service has been excellent.
The reason for taking a couple of stars off is specifically because of the product quality. Since installation, the keypad to get into the garage from the outside has gone out twice. Per the service technician who came out, the average life span of the keypad is 2 years. Having to pay $97 to have this replaced every 2 years (on average) is a bit outrageous in my opinion! I wish they would invest in a higher quality device. I personally would prefer to pay more upfront for reliability.

Today Sept. 24 2025 the tech Justin Cooper came n saw my issue gave me pricing options n replaced both springs on my door! It now opens n closes smoothly! Hats off to Justin!

I want to specifically recognize Sarah (Office Staff) and Ryder & Trucker (Technicians). They are "TRUE CUSTOMER / PEOPLE ORIENTED PROFESSIONALS WHO STRIVE TO SET THE HIGHEST STANDARDS OTHERS SHOULD STRIVE TO ACHIEVE" !!!
Today, our garage door would not open. When I called, Sarah answered - listened to my plea for help and very effectively talked to me in a calm manner which gave me Trust & Confidence they would resolve the door issue somewhat immediately (within 2 hrs) at a VERY FAIR PRICE.
When Ryder & Trucker arrived and did a quick analysis of the problem (dual spring broken on the 2 car door). They approached us in a "TRUE CUSTOMER ORIENTED MANNER" which gave my wife & I confidence & trust they were "TRUE PROFESSIONALS WHO CARE".
They explained reduced costs & job time to include a Military Discount. We accepted and within an hour - the "MISSION WAS SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED" and gave my wife & I "VERY HAPPY SMILES".
WE WILL DEFINITELY CALL THESE SUPER FOLKS IN THE FUTURE FOR ANNUAL GARAGE DOOR TUNE-UPS / SERVICES.

I am so thrilled with my service! Everything from scheduling to payment was super easy and I had the best tech in the world. No one wants maintenance issues, but I would definitely recommend!

Exceptional customer service and technical support. Technician fixed my overhead door opener after diagnosing the problem. He was very knowledgeable and did not quit until he figured it out. Highly recommend their service.

Jose and Eli did an awesome job with the installation of our new door. Not only did they do great work, they also took the time after the install to explain the work they had done to me, the warranty I now had, and also how to maintain our new door. Very skilled craftsman that are also very professional and nice people, and a very competitive price.

Matt came and fixed our garage door that was not functioning properly. He gave a heads up before coming and helped answer all my questions regarding garage door maintenance, keypad reset and key fob reset. Very reliable. Wonderful service.

We had sustained damage due to a tornado going through our area. Matt came out and made us us feel very at ease by answering all our questions.
